Client: Schneider Electric
Schneider Electric turned to virtual reality experiences as a way of showing their clients how their products could fit into a modern property. To help them achieve this, Andrew Lucas Studios created a ‘virtual show home’ that incorporated several of Schneider Electric’s products, including a new range of switches, a consumer unit (CU) and kitchen socket towers.
Users were able to interact with each of these products, choosing finishes and customising the products themselves. This allowed them to explore the company’s portfolio through gamification, letting them see for themselves how the products work and what the options were.
Two experiences were created as part of this build – one that works with Google Cardboard virtual reality headsets and another that runs on a browser (WebVR). These will both be used by Schneider Electric’s sales team and account managers during meetings.
